THIS ENSURES THAT THE WHOLE PROCESS IS STRAIGHTFORWARD AND HASSLE-FREE.
Under the Government's Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme, homeowners who meet specific criteria can have their old, inefficient gas boilers replaced by new A-rated boilers together with improved insulation. The work will be carried out free of charge or, depending on whether you have met all the criteria, you may be asked to make a small contribution to the overall cost.
The scheme was set up to help families reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient. If you meet the criteria and your current boiler is over eight years old, you will qualify. The scheme is open to those who are in receipt of a state benefit. A list of benefits is included below. The funding is provided through UK energy companies. It does not need to be repaid.
OUR PROCESS
1. ELIGIBILITY CHECK
Both the survey and installation are free if you meet the relevant criteria. We will advise you on what you are eligible for based on a few simple questions.
2. SURVEY
One of our accredited Retrofit Assessors, (Jonathan, Gary or Stewart) will visit your home to gather more information and explain the process.
3. INSTALLATION
Installations will be carried out by one of our own Gas Safe engineers (Greg or Callum). Work will be completed in one day and checked by an independent inspector.
